Green Bird Farm is an ostrich farm that achieves the highest standards in meat, leather and feather production by focusing on selective breeding and animal welfare.

All our produce is organic with all feed sourced from small local farmers which ensures freshness and a high nutritional content. The birds are hatched, raised and processed on site to avoid the stress of transportation. Raised in large outdoor enclosures, they are free to graze and interact with other birds.

We also focus on enrichment of their environment, a practice more commonly seen in zoos than farms. We do all this because we firmly believe that a happy animal is a healthy animal and this quality of life translates into quality of product, which our customers value very highly.
